Abstract: AIM:To study the chemical constituents of Querc us dentata Thunb..METHOD:These compounds were isolated by using D101,silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography.Their chemical stru ctures were comfirmed by UV, IR,MS,NMR and compared with reference.RESU LT :These compounds were elucidated as friedelin(1),glutin ol(2), e pifriedelol(3),β-sitosterol (4), oleanolic a cid (5),daucosterol(6), quercilicoside A( 7) and 1,3,4/2,5 -cyclohexanpentaol(8).CONCL USION:Compounds 5～8 were isolated from this plant for th e first time.
