Abstract: AIM:To study a method of candesartan synthesis. METHOD:Carbonyl in the carbamates (Curtius rearrangment product) con densates with amino to form benzimidazole.RESULT AND CONCLUSION: This method of candesartan synthesis avoids taking off the carbamates,and makes the best use of carbonyl in the carbamates.
