Abstract:
Dynamic resolution technology is one of the main approaches to obtain the single chiral compounds and has attracted much research interest.Dynamic resolution technology combines the resolution with racemization
in situ.The key feature of this technology is the rapid racemization
in situ of the unreactive enantiomer in the resolution of the racemic substrates.In this way,all the substrates could be converted into a single product isomer with a 100% theoretical yield.Generally speaking,in order to achieve high efficiency,the key point is to find the appropriate recemization conditions which are compatible with the resolution conditions.The dynamic resolution technology including dynamic kinetic resolution and dynamic thermodynamic resolution is summarized in this review and the latest research progress as well as the application in preparation of chiral drugs and chiral compounds are also presented.
