THREE WAVELENGTH SPECTROPHOTOMETRY OF EPHEDRINE HYDROCHLORIDE AND DIPHENHYDRAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE IN EPHEDRINE COMPOUND TABLETS

  • Ephedrine compound tablets were ground and dild. with 0.1 N H_2S0_4 and analyzed with 751 G spectrophotometer without any preliminary separation by three wavelength spectrophotcmetry. The determination wavelengths were at 238,240,243,250,258.5 and 266.1 nm which were chosen with micro calculator. The average recovery fcr ephedrine HCl and diphenhydramine HCl were 99.7±0.57% and 99.5±0.71%, respectively.
