Abstract
Aim :To identify the characteristic ingredients in Zhi-Zi-Hou-Pu decoction (ZZHPD) by utilizing various hyphenated chromatographic-spectrum techniques and investigate the effects of the compatibility on the dissolution of the chemical components. Methods :After separation on a Lichrospher C18 column using methanol-0.1% acetic acid gradient elution,LC-UV,LC-FD and LC-PDA-MS/MS analyses were performed for ZZHPD and the water extracts of different mixtures of crude drugs,respectively. Results :Seven ingredients were separated and identified. The dissolution profiles of six investigated components were affected by the different composition of the crude drugs. Conclusion :It is an effective method to study the material foundation of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) by hyphenated chromatographic-spectrum techniques.Some compounds in the TCMs are different form those in the raw medicinal materials.
