  • Despite that tremendous progresses in the development of Chinese materia medica industry greatly attributed to the initial phase implementation of protection system,the existing problems in the system could hind the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).This paper deals with a comprehensive analysis of R&D of the protected TCMs and the clinical trials,and examines the unveiled problems,which might provide guidance in the improvement of the protection system and facilitate TCM development.
