  • As the green organic solvents, ionic liquids(ILs)have become hot topics in the research of traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs). This review summarizes the applications of ILs in the extraction, separation and analysis of different chemical types of active components of TCMs. The structural types of ILs and the interaction mechanism between ILs and active components were also discussed.
