This paper describes the metabolism of m-hydroxybenzaldehyde in fermenting yeast cells.Three compounds were isolated from fermentation medium, which were identified by IR,1HNMR and MS as m-hydroxlphenyl acetyl carbinol(yield:37.4%),m-hydroxybenzyl alcohol
