Application of Second Derivative Spectrometry to the Determination of Quinestrol and of Spectrophotometry to the Norgestrel of Drphylline in Compound Preparation

  • Quinestrol in compound preparation was determined directly by using second derivative spectrometry. The proposed method is simple and rapid without any preliminary separation. The results obtained are satisfactory both in recovery and in precision. The average recoveries of quinestrol and norgestrel were 100.5%±0.34%(RSD) and 99.78%±0.42%(RSD), respectively.
