Chemical constituents from Saururus chinensis(Lour.) Baill

Seven compounds were isolated and purified from Saururus chinensis (Lour.) Baill,and were identified as meiocarpin ( 1 ),sauristolactam ( 2 ),aristololactam AⅡ( 3 ),4,5-dioxodehydroasimilobine ( 4 ),hyperin ( 5 ),quercetin ( 6 ),and quercitrin ( 7 ) by spectroscopic techniques and physicochemical properties.Compounds 1 , 3 , 4 were first isolated from the genus Saururus.Among them,compound 1 is an unusual 7,8-secolignan,the absolute configuration of which was first determined as 7′R,8′S on the basis of ROESY and CD spectral studies.
