Progress for chemical analysis and quality control of Traditional Chinese Medicines

Standardization and efficient quality control are the most important issues in the development of Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCMs).Global analysis of chemical constituents and full elucidation of bioactive components are key to the quality control of TCMs.Based on recent works conducted in the authors laboratories,this review summarizes the advanced techniques for chemical profiling of components in TCMs,screening of bioactive components,and improved quality control methods.
