  • In this paper, alkaloidal contents are considered as active principle of Shihu(the Stem of Dendrobium) Acid-dye Colorimetric analysis was used to determine thealkaloidal contents in the eleven species of Dendrobium. The result obtained showedthat the contents of Dendrobium nobile are more than those of other species.
