Investigation of a Taxonomic Technique of Information Content of System-Difference Ⅰ. A Taxonomic Technique of Information Content of System-Difference and Its Application to the Selection of Optimal Combination of TLC Systems of 26 Kinds of Food Dyes

  • Based on the information theory and the practice of TLC, a novel taxonomic technique of information which is called the taxonomic technique of information content of system-difference has been presented from Shannon Equation in this article. At the same time a classification of the TLC systems of 26 kinds of food dyes has been made by this method with satisfactory result. This method has been compared with several other taxonomic techniques and also discussed its application to the related fields.
