The Occurence of Taxol and Brevifoliol in Pseudotaxus chienii Cheng

Genus Pseudotaxus is endemic to China with a single species. The contents of taxol and brevifoliol in bark and leaf of Pseudotaxus chienii were determined by HPLC. The significance of these chemical characteristics in systematics were discussed briefly.
