Anti-tumor components in Stachy geobombycis

The compound with anti-tumor activity was isolated and identified as apigenin 7-O-(6″-(E)-p-coumaroyl)- β-D-galactopyranoside (ACGR) from Stachys geobombycis C.Y.Wu for the first time.Its antitumor activity was evaluated by MTT method,and its content was determined by HPLC.The preliminary assay result illustrates the anti-tumor potential of flavonoids in Stachys geobombycis C.Y.Wu,and provides an approach to clinical application of Stachys geobombycis C.Y.Wu in cancer therapy.〖
