胰岛β细胞保护策略研究进展

Advances in pancreatic β-cell protective strategies

  • 摘要: 胰岛β细胞是机体内唯一可以合成并分泌胰岛素的细胞,多种病理因素均可引起胰岛β细胞的损伤,保护胰岛β细胞治疗糖尿病的研究受到人们的日益重视。本文从增强胰岛β细胞功能,减少胰岛β细胞凋亡,增加胰岛β细胞体量和诱导细胞分化方面进行阐述,为糖尿病的治疗提供新的靶点及治疗策略。

     

    Abstract: Pancreatic β cells, the only cells in the body that can synthesize and secrete insulin, can be damaged by a variety of pathological factors. Increasing attention has been paid to the studies of protecting pancreatic β cells in the treatment of diabetes. In this review, we highlight the studies that focus on enhancement of islet β cell function, reduction of islet β cell apoptosis, increase of islet β cell number and induction of islet β cell differentiation, providing novel targets and therapeutic strategies for the treatment of diabetes.
