野葡萄成分没食子酸的药理研究

THE PHARMACOLOGICAL STUDY OF GALLIC ACID FROM AMPELOPSIS BREVIPEDUNCULATA

  • 摘要: 从草药野葡萄提得的没食子酸有效成分,药理研究表明,对蛋清,5-羟色胺、右旋糖酐和甲醛引起的大鼠足跖肿胀有良好的抗炎作用。其抗炎剂量虽大于水杨酸钠,但其毒性低,故其治疗指数远大于水杨酸。此外,没食子酸在体外对金黄色葡萄球菌有较强的抑制作用。

     

    Abstract: The pharmacological studies were made on the gallic acid isolated from a herb Ampelopsis brevipedunculata. It was found that gallic acid had an antiinflamma- tory effect. Gallic acid(800mg/kg ip)is as effective as salicylic acid(400mg/kg ip) in reducing paw edema of rats induced by egg white, 5-HT, dextran and formaldehyde. It should be pointed out that the toxicity of gallic acid was much lower than that of salicylic acid, i.e.LD50 for the former being 4g/kg and for the latter 650mg/kg. Therefore, the therapeutic index of gallic acid was greater. In addition, gallic acid possesses antibacterial activity, for inhibiting the growth of staphylococcus aureus at the concentration of 1:10,000.
