  • From the root of Clematis intricata Bunge,six compounds were isolated and identified as 7β-ethoxy-6α-hydroxy-1,4-dioxacyclooctane( 1 ),4,6,7-trimethoxy-5-methyl coumarin( 2 ),scopoletin( 3 ),3,5,7,4’ -tetrahydroxyflavone( 4 ),p-hydroxy benzoic acid( 5 ),and 3,4-dihydroxy benzoic acid( 6 ).Compound 1 is a new one,while compounds 2 , 5 , 6 have been isolated from genus clematis for the first time.
